Australian Medical Association (AMA) Annual Family Doctor Week Is On Next Week

The theme for this year is “Your Family Doctor:  All about you.”

It will share the facts on how GPs are the first cab off the rank when Australians feel unwell – and that GPs manage over ninety percent of the health problems encountered.

Eighty five percent of Aussies visit their GP at least once per year.  Retention is good with ninety-three percent returning to the practice they use each time.
